This month we are hosting several graduate students from New Mexico State University who will be presenting on two of their ongoing research projetcs:
Ultra High Performance Concrete: feasibility, localization, and structural applications
Multi-story walls using unbonded post-tensioned precast concrete coupling beams
Both of these projects focus on developing practical solutions and usable specifications for each of the applications. The UHPC research includes the development of UHPC utilizing affordable, local materials. The multi-story wall research presents an inovative approach to simplifiing the construction of multi-story wall systems.

The monthly ACI lunch meetings are very well attended and typically sell out, so please register in advance. These meetings are a great opportunity to network, as well as to brush up on your technical knowledge. Check in begins at 11:30, followed by lunch and the presentation at noon. We work to get you back on the road by 1:00 pm.
