Come learn about the completed and on-going research conducted at ASU through the Del E Webb School of Construction Management. Several speakers will discuss completed research that includes converting ready mix fleets to natural gas, and on-going research into the use of sustainable concrete construction practices.
Proceeds from this month's meeting stay with our ASU-ACI Student Chapter to help them fund future activities.
Speakers this month include:
Howard Bashford - a faculty member at DEWSC since 1991. He received his PhD from BYU in 1984. He owned and operated a design/build firm in the 1970’s and 1980’s before design-build was popular. He joined academia in 1991 at ASU, and holds active PE registrations in Arizona and Utah.
Jacqueline Thompson - completed her MS degree at ASU in 2001, and worked at DEWSC as a research associate for three years thereafter. She joined Shea Homes as a process analyst in 2004, and returned to ASU in 2009 to work towards a PhD in construction.
