legislative Agenda for Arizona
 Why We Should Be Hopeful

Presented by:  Steve Trussell, Executive Director of the Arizona Rock Products Association

The ARIZONA ROCK PRODUCTS ASSOCIATION (ARPA) is a trade organization, that for 58 years has represented companies producing nearly all the aggregate materials in the State of Arizona. ARPA is the oldest Mining Association in Arizona.  With our outstanding safety and environmental record, substantial economic benefits and active social and political involvement, ARPA has the pulse on what to look forward to with the new Administration in DC and what is happening at the State level that impacts our industry.  Please join us as Steve Trussell, Executive Director of ARPA discusses what to expect from the Legislative Agenda this year.

About the speaker:

Steve Trussell has been the Executive Director of ARPA since 2007.  His responsibility is the promotion and preservation of the sustainability of the rock and construction materials industry through active involvement in the community relations, regulatory, and political processes.  The Association has spent the last 3 years working on regulatory reform and transparency legislation that will prove to be of benefit to all business sectors.  Steve obtained his B.A. and Masters Degree from ASU and holds a Post Baccalaureate Degree from Ottawa University.

Parking for the meeting will be in the Fulton Center Parking Garage off College Avenue between University and 5th Street.  Validation will be given at the meeting.
